Product Performance As part of our commitment to developing the best products for your projects, Mastermix has maintained a 20 year history of rigorous testing via internationally recognised laboratories. We pay top dollar to put our products to the test so you don’t have to. OPUS Laboratory Results Independent laboratory tests carried out in accordance with NZ3112 and is designed to conform to NZ Standards 4210:2001 show that compressive strengths will be achieved as follows: 🗸 2 hours – 20.0MPa 🗸 24 hours –36.0MPa 🗸 28 days – 45.0MPa Further set time is 17 minutes from mixing.
Packaging Packed in 30kg waterproof bags. When stored in cool dry conditions it will have a shelf life of 3 months.
Instructions The area to be coated must be thoroughly clean of: 🗸 Grease 🗸 Oil 🗸 Loose material 🗸 The surface can be damp, but not wet Mix 130mls of clean water to 1kg of Rapid Repair, mix thoroughly to an even consistency and apply with a trowel and float to the desired finish. Only mix the amount required to effect the repair and do not leave the product standing. Once the product has been placed and ‘finished off’ do not rework it as the effectiveness of the finished product may be compromised. Under normal ambient conditions it will set in 17 minutes, from mixing, and will be fully cured in 24 hours. Rapid Repair is suitable for repairs 10mm to 100mm in depth and should be always placed in one layer. Where depths exceed 25mm wire reinforcing should be used. If a ‘feather edge’ is required Multi-Cote should be used as a primer coat.
Coverage & Performance Rapid Repair will set in 17 minutes from mixing and will achieve 20MPa compressive strength within 2 hours at ambient temperature of 16°C.
Warranty As part of our commitment to delivering the best customer experience throughout the project lifecycle, Mastermix Director Steve Douglas personally reviews each warranty request. Each Warranty period is awarded at our discretion and will only be considered where approved Mastermix product applicators are used.
