Managing high stress points can determine the long term success of your project. HSR is a high performance product offering fast curing times combined with very fast high compressive strength characteristics.
Managing high stress points can determine the long term success of your project. HSR is a high performance product offering fast curing times combined with very fast high compressive strength characteristics. It is resistant to acid attack and can be trowelled to a feathered finish when Multi Cote is used as a primer. HSR has a wide range of uses where fast setting times are crucial. It is an Ideal product for resetting hinges, pins and bolts that are set in concrete and, with discussion with our technical department, may be used to repair and protect concrete members in both prestressed and reinforced concrete structures. ‘HSR’s acid resistant characteristics enable it to be used in all geothermal and marine environments. Just how fast and how strong you ask? HSR sets in 7 minutes and after 3 hours achieves a compressive strength of 20MPa, 30MPa in 24 hours and 50MPa when fully cured in 28 days!

Instructions Prepare the surface of the substrate to ensure it is clean of: 🗸 Grease 🗸 Loose and weak materials 🗸 Other foreign matter 🗸 Rotate pail end for end before opening as settling may occur. Measure 200mls of clean water to 1kg of ‘HSR’ into a clean container, mix thoroughly ensuring the water is mixed evenly through the product. If necessary, add a small amount of water to achieve the desired consistency. Once finished DO NOT REWORK. Mixing for use as a water plug Mix using less water and knead by hand to a consistency of putty. When product gets warm, plug the hole. In all cases do not mix any more than you can place before the product sets. The ambient temperature affects the curing time of HSR. It is best used in temperatures of between 7°C and 25°C. The water content will also affect the curing time. Once mixed correctly ‘HSR’ will set in 7 minutes at an ambient temperature of 16°C
Coverage & Performance ‘HSR’ has a wide range of uses where fast setting times are crucial. This includes resetting of manhole covers, repairs to concrete roads, kerbs and paths.
