โ€ข Bypass pumping was set up from the sewer manhole in the building forecourt area and from the boat berth pumping manifold to the pump station valve pit.
โ€ข The pump station was then pumped out and all waste removed via suction tank truck.

โ€ข Large cavities were then filled with Mastermix High Strength Repair (HSR)
โ€ข A coat of Mastermix Multi-cote was applied as a primer and water-proofing layer at 2mm thickness.
โ€ข A buildup layer of Mastermix Rapid Repair was used to build up eroded areas at an average of 40-50mm.
โ€ข A topcoat of Mastermix Shield was applied in two coats over the entire inside of the pump station as a protection layer at 4-5mm thickness.
โ€ข Full reinstatement of pump station

Dedicated to keeping nz green

Mastermix is a proudly New Zealand owned and operated company and is committed to developing environmentally sustainable concrete products for use in our country. We are constantly assessing and identifying any issues with our processes to find more eco-friendly and effective solutions. Recycled glass, which we use in our Shield product, was an expensive problem for the local councils who were not properly equipped to process the amount of glass.

We chose to develop a concrete solution that incorporated recyclable glass into Mastermix Shield, which utilises the hard-wearing properties of glass to form a durable topcoat that is both waterproof and acid-free.
