New-Waikanae-Water-Treatment-Plant
Mastermix products played a key role in the successful protection and long-term durability of critical infrastructure at the New Waikanae Water Treatment Plant for the Kāpiti Coast District Council. Expertly applied by Brian Perry Civil, the project involved the use of high-performance protective and repair systems across essential areas within the treatment facility.
These works formed part of the construction and protection of new water treatment infrastructure designed to perform under highly aggressive chemical exposure and demanding operational conditions.
These works formed part of an infrastructure maintenance and protection program designed to improve durability, structural integrity, and long-term performance within a high-use transfer station environment.
Mastermix systems were applied across key operational areas of the treatment plant, including the Chlorine Room, Fluoride Room, Polymer Room, and the ALUM/PACL Bund. These areas required advanced protection solutions capable of withstanding constant chemical exposure while maintaining structural integrity and long-term durability.
The focus of the works was to ensure reliable, long-lasting protection of concrete and structural surfaces within critical water treatment environments.
A comprehensive range of Mastermix products were utilised throughout the project, including:
These systems were selected for their high-performance capabilities, chemical resistance, and suitability for demanding infrastructure environments.
The completed works delivered:
This project demonstrates Mastermix’s commitment to delivering high-quality, durable coating and repair systems for critical infrastructure across New Zealand. Through expert application by Brian Perry Civil and the use of proven Mastermix solutions, the New Waikanae Water Treatment Plant was equipped with robust long-term protection designed to perform in highly demanding treatment environments.
